The Royal Exchange, the formal proclamation of the accession of King Charles III

As we all mourn the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our condolences are with her family at this sad time. Her Majesty gave us 70 years of steadfast service for which we are eternally grateful.

We welcome our new monarch and on the 10th September at The Royal Exchange, the formal proclamation of the accession of King Charles III was read aloud in keeping with the tradition of the City of London to observe this profound moment in our country’s history and ensuring the greatest respect and compassion.

As we manage Royal Exchange, we would also like to thank our staff and contractors for ensuring the smooth running of such a complex operation at what is an obviously a difficult time for the whole country.
