Adrian joined Metrus in 1997 to develop our portfolio management operations, and was made Managing Director in 2005. He has over 40 years’ experience in property management, working both for property companies and in private practice.
Paul began his career in the Valuation Office. Since 1989 Paul has worked in private practice advising clients across England and Wales, both occupiers and owners, on rates mitigation, rates payment management, rate relief and budget planning. As well as dealing with office, retail, leisure and industrial properties, Paul also advises on specialist properties such as data centres, marinas, and private health care facilities.
Malcolm is a chartered surveyor with over 35 years’ experience of commercial property matters, in particular rent reviews, lease renewals, lease re-gears and valuation. He has experience of acting as an expert witness in court and arbitration proceedings and is also on the RICS panel of Independent Experts and Arbitrators appointed to resolve rental and capital valuation disputes. Malcolm also undertakes valuations of residential properties in London for the purposes of lease extensions and negotiates claims in accordance with leasehold enfranchisement legislation.
An experienced Block Manager with over 6 years experience, responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term maintenance of residential developments. Skilled in coordinating major works, compliance, and service charge budgets, while working closely with leaseholders, residents, and freeholders to ensure high standards and building wellbeing.
Colin joined Metrus in September 1995 to grow and develop the commercial agency team. He specialises in disposals & acquisitions within the Central London office market. He advises a wide and varied client base ranging from private individuals, private & public property companies to large institutional clients. Key Skills include lease advisory, lease renewals, re-gears, pre-lettings & development appraisal. Colin became an Equity Partner in January 2006.
Oliver joined the Agency team at Metrus in January 2023. His work involves assisting on all aspects of commercial agency, advising both landlord and tenant clients across various sub-markets. He also has a passion and enjoys helping tenants grow their businesses from commencement into new spaces.
Harrison joined the Agency and Asset Management department in November 2023. Since joining he has been advising both tenants and landlords on vacant office space as well as undertaking detailed reporting and analysis on commercial schemes across the UK.
Patrick joined Metrus in 2018. He brings a wealth of experience in housing management including commercial, residential and social housing, spanning over twenty years.
At Metrus he manages five of our prestigious commercial buildings. He is tasked with ensuring a quality service and the maintaining of the high standards of Metrus.
David is a Landlord and Tenant specialist, with over 30-years’ experience of a wide variety of commercial properties, most notably retail and offices. David acts for landlords and tenants and is regularly appointed to provide Expert Evidence in rent review and lease renewal disputes
Rachael joined Metrus in 2013. She is an administration assistant to the Property Management department and assists with help desk functions, ensuring we can respond quickly to clients and tenants alike.
Elliot joined Metrus in January 2015 to lead our Residential team. He has over 20 years’ experience in managing both residential and commercial properties on behalf of a wide variety of clients, encompassing trusts, high net worth individuals and residents’ associations.
With over 20 years of property experience in the UK and overseas, Henry has worked on both agency and client-side projects. His expertise spans shopping centres, residential, offices, train stations, and bus depots, with previous roles at DTZ, JLL, and Workman.
Martin has over 30 years’ property industry experience. He’s dealt with all aspects of developing and leasing in high streets and shopping centres across the UK, and has worked on major leasing, development and consultancy projects for many of the UK’s leading property owners and retailers.
Mark joined Metrus in 2015 after a 30 year career in the Metropolitan Police that came to a close in 2012, when his transferable skills were initially applied to the legal, technical and employment aspects of setting up a health club and gym in a 5* London Hotel. Upon joining Metrus he managed a light industrial, media, residential and storage estate in North London, providing a wealth of Facilities Management experience. Now very happy to be back in the heart of the city, Mark deals with a portfolio of properties from our Hallam Street HQ.
Adam has 30 years of experience advising investors and occupiers on maximising property asset performance, often taking a “quasi” client role to drive value-add initiatives. He has worked with institutional funds, property companies, charities, HNWIs, and family offices. Passionate about leading motivated teams, Adam is committed to delivering exceptional property and asset management services. He believes in the value of property as an investment and the importance of strategic goals and strong management.
Chris has over 35 years’ experience within property management accounts. He joined Metrus, formerly MERJS in 2006, having previously worked at several large practices. Chris was promoted to associate in 2012.
David joined Metrus in 2016 having been a Senior Director at BNP Paribas Real Estate. He has over 30 years experience in Investment and Asset Management working for both property companies and in private practice. He advises a range of clients including institutional investors, property companies and private individuals to ensure client’s properties perform at their optimal level. Key skills include acquisitions, refurbishments, tenant engineering, lease regears, change of use, co-ordinating letting agents, and investment disposals.
Katie joined Metrus in 2013. She works as a Personal Assistant supporting the Commercial Agency team and Property Management team in all aspects of business management and administration.

Harrison joined the Accounts Department in November 2018 to provide support to the team and also when time permits, assists our Office Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the practice.
Robert is our company accountant. He joined the firm in 2000, after many years in private practice, and now ensures Metrus maintains its financial good health.
Justine joined Metrus in 2023 with extensive experience in property management both in Ireland and the UK. Specializing in all aspects of block and residential property management, she is dedicated to driving success, maximizing property value, and providing exceptional service.
Rosie joined Metrus in 2010. She has over 25 years’ property management experience covering a wide range of properties for both investment clients and corporate instructions.
Richard has over 28 years’ experience in the London investment market advising on over £2.5bn of transactions, including the purchase of a prime Mayfair asset for £150m, a multi let office in midtown for £22m; the sale of 431-451 Oxford Street and a mixed-use estate in North London for £34m. He advises on sales and acquisitions across all sectors, working closely with a broad range of clients including institutional investors, private domestic and overseas investors, property companies and receivers. He arranges off-market transactions maintaining client’s confidentiality as well as thinking creatively about how an asset can be enhanced or marketed.
With 8+ years in property management, Tess specialises in prime residential portfolios. She has held senior roles at Knight Frank, Rhodium, and JR Capital, building a strong track record in asset management, compliance, and tenant relations.
Nigel joined Metrus in 2017 and has over 35 years’ experience in property and asset management, with an emphasis on mixed use portfolios. Experienced in contemporary and period building management, restoration and refurbishment projects. Well versed in landlord & tenant matters, service charges and due diligence for both acquisitions and disposals.
Ren has over 20 years’ experience in Property Management and prior to Metrus, worked for a property company and an established Chartered Surveying firm in the City. Ren manages a varied portfolio of commercial and retail properties, including setting service charge budgets, arranging service contracts and repairs, ensuring health and safety compliance, and liaising with tenants and site staff. In her spare time, Ren enjoys socialising with friends and attending the theatre and comedy shows.
Sahar joined Metrus in August 2025 as part of the Residential Team, bringing 4+ years’ experience in Property Management, Client Finances, Sales, and Credit Control. She started her career as an Accounts Apprentice in Holborn and has since managed residential portfolios while working closely with clients.
Adele heads our help desk team, as well as overseeing health and safety management. She joined the company in 2003 and plays a pivotal role across facilities management.
With an enviable reputation in the commercial property market, Andrew co-founded Metrus’ predecessor, Ross Jaye, in 1982. Now, he leads many of our major acquisitions and disposals, as well as helping our key clients enhance their asset values and plan their long-term strategy.
Vernon joined Metrus in June 2024 and has over 10 years’ experience in property management, handling estate and property management for high-end residential and mixed -use developments across prime London Locations.
Andrew joined Metrus in 2006 following previous positions with a private property company and an international commercial consultant. With over 30 years’ property experience advising key corporate and investor clients, Andrew now works on strategic properties overseeing key client portfolios and delivering solutions that focus on core property management and asset value initiatives.
Philippa joined Metrus in 1983, having extensive property experience and has been a Director since 1989. She is now overseeing corporate compliance. This involves managing the practice, human resources and corporate governance.
Andy has 25 years of experience in property management, covering aspects of management accounting. Andy previously worked at King Sturge before joining Metrus, where Andy was made an Associate in 2012.
Pamela joined Metrus in 2004 as an insurance manager. Over the years, she has expanded her expertise to include a wider range of compliance and property matters, along with significant involvement in developing the company’s sustainability credentials.
Having worked with CBRE in both London and New Zealand, Hannah specialises in clients with large, mixed-asset portfolios. Her most recent experience was managing industrial estates in the outer zones of London, providing tailored solutions for diverse property needs.
With over 20 years of experience, Tom has overseen the management of prime commercial and residential assets across Central London, delivering expertise in operations, compliance, and client service.
Richard joined METRUS in 2017 as an Area Building Manager. He has over 20 years experience of managing outsourced service partners in the maintenance, cleaning and security sectors. This experience has proved to be a useful foundation in his day to day role of supervising a portfolio of small to medium sized buildings in London and the south east.
Giles has over 30 years’ experience in property management, principally in private practice. He advises both corporate clients and high net worth individuals on how to maximise the potential of their assets.
A finance graduate with well-grounded experience since 2006, in property management accounting and reporting processes. Specialising in all areas of service charge/rent reporting and cash flow management. Wealth of experience in providing a tailored service to highly valued clients and high-end customers.
Daniel has an honours degree from Kingston University in Real Estate Management and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with 18 years’ of Property Management experience across the Commercial and Residential property sectors in the UK.
He has worked with a range of different UK and International based Funds, Propco and Boutique clients and focuses on, providing a tailored and VIP service to support his clients core objectives, maximising occupier satisfaction, service charge management and maintaining building performance throughout the life cycle of the assets which he manages.
Richard joined the team in 2007, bringing with him an impressive range of property management experience. He’s looked after mixed-use estates, multi-let offices, and regional office and residential properties for a variety of clients, ranging from charities to property companies, corporations and private individuals.
Liz joined the team in 2001 as PA to our Managing Director. She also oversees secretarial support functions across the firm, and assists in the daily operation of the Property Management department.
Stewart joined Metrus in January 2002 and has over 40 years’ experience in Portfolio Management in both local and national/international practices. Stewart has experience of managing multi let offices, retail and industrial properties but now mainly deals with single and multi-let offices in London and the South East. Clients include private individuals and corporate entities.
Ed joined Metrus in November 2024 and brings with him 10 years’ experience in commercial property management. He has dealt with clients ranging from individual landlords to industrial REITs with extensive portfolios.
Jermain Parkinson joined Metrus in 2024 as an Area Building Manager, bringing over a decade of engineering expertise from the rail industry. With a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Jermain combines a meticulous, process-driven approach and a passion for problem-solving. He blends strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail in his new role.
Nigel joined Metrus in 2017. Previously he has worked for a property company, a fund manager and the City of London Corporation as well as large and small private practices. He has over 35 years property management and asset management experience dealing with multi let and single let offices, shopping centres, retail parks, high street retail, industrial and leisure properties.
Michael joined Metrus in 2015 to assist the expansion of the residential department. He brings a wealth of experience in this specialist field having previously worked for other national agencies.
David joined Metrus in 2022, following 30 years’ service in the construction industry and two years as front of house manager. David is SIA, IOSH and First Aid qualified, and now operates as one of Metrus’ reliable Area Building Managers, supervising the day-to-day requirements of our clients’ properties.
Katie is a marketing leader with 20+ years’ experience across B2B and B2C, now focused on real estate. Skilled in leveraging digital channels, data, and storytelling, she drives measurable engagement and growth through insight-led campaigns, performance marketing, and creative content.
Steve has worked in Property accounts for over 30 years and joined Metrus in 2002. Steve has previously worked at Drivers Jonas, CB Hillier Parker and King Sturge.
Mary has over 25 years experience having worked in Real Estate Accounts both Corporate and Management. Joined Metrus from Savills in February 2022 where she worked in the London Treasury Team from July 2018, assisting with the onboarding of the treasury function for the Broadgate Portfolio also leading a small team dealing with other clients. Previously employed by Capital Real Estate in the corporate accounts team until 2001 – then took over as Head of Cashiers in 2011 managing a team in London and an offshore team in Krakow.
Rob Shutt is a Chartered Surveyor who has a wide range of experience having been in the property industry for over 20 years and has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2011.He has previously helped a range of clients on UK wide property portfolios across all asset classes.
Andrew has a wealth of experience having worked in property management accounts departments for over 30 years and joined in January 2022 from Colliers International where he worked for over 16 years managing some of their higher profile clients. Previous employers include CB Hillier Parker, Drivers Jonas, King Sturge and DTZ and Andrew has worked for a variety of clients, ranging from County Council pension funds, investment funds, private individuals portfolios to overseas clients and has been responsible for all aspects of property accounting.
John brings 35 years’ experience in delivering a high level property management service and maintaining that standard. He is looking to build on our excellent team of management surveyors and developing better ways of delivering service and communication to our clients.
Simon advises clients in all aspects of leasing, landlord and tenant law, with extensive experience in rent reviews and lease renewals. He is a seasoned negotiator, having overseen many of the highest calibre shop and office rent reviews in London. Simon stood for four consecutive years on the Committee of the Restaurant Property Advisors Society and is a specialist in valuing restaurant and leisure property throughout the UK.
Sudhir has over 30 years’ experience within property management accounts. He joined the Company in April 1996 having previously worked at Sweby Cowan Surveyors. Sudhir was made associate in 2009.
Kinga joined Metrus in March 2021. She runs our reception and boardroom facilities service and also assists with help desk functions, ensuring we can respond quickly to clients and tenants alike.
Martyn has over 30 years in property management accounts. He joined the Company in May 2000 having previously worked at King Sturge bringing together a team with a wealth of experience. Martyn was made Director in 2011.
